§ G5 · Frequent questions

Six standing questions.

Six questions that recur in every commissioning conversation, answered in full so the first meeting can be about your brief, not these.

What is the minimum engagement?

A single signed wave at constituency level (one LS or AC seat). National waves and multi-state engagements run longer. There is no monthly retainer minimum. Available on request

Will the wave be published, or kept private?

Publication rights are set in the engagement letter. The firm publishes its own signed waves on the public site. Commissioned waves can be published, embargoed for a set window, or kept fully private — the choice is yours, and pricing reflects it.

Will you work for a political party?

Yes, on equal terms with press, ministry and academic commissions. The firm does not adjust findings for the political colour of who commissions them; if that is the work you need, the firm will decline.

How do you handle media silence period (MCC)?

The firm observes the ECI Model Code of Conduct silence period in full. No new vote-intention figures are published in the 48-hour silence window; previously published figures remain accessible.

Can we receive the raw data and weights?

Replication packs (raw weights, rake script, seat-projection model, run log) are released to academic, press and government partners Available on request. Commissioner data is shared per engagement terms.

How do we object to a published figure?

Write to contact@matrize.in with your specific objection and any counter-evidence. The methodology desk replies within Available on request; objections that result in a model revision are logged on the methodology page.
